Protractor use

Protractor practice quizzes

  1. A practice version on paper will be handed out in class on Friday, April 19, 2024. This is what your real quiz will look like. We will do the real quiz sometime after we return from Spring Break.
  2. Three practice quizzes and one Brooklyn special practice quiz. Do at least one, but really you should do enough so that you feel confident you will get a good score on the one that gives you homework credit.
  3. A single practice quiz for real homework credit. This is not optional. You must finish it before 8:00 AM, Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Trigonometric ratios

  1. trig-drill.pdf
Determine the unknown quantites for the 5 vector triangles. State all answers to 3 significant digits. Include a unit when appropriate. Do not include a sign. There is no need to show the work used to arrive at your answer. If you do show work, it will not be graded.

The solutions can be found at trig-drill-answers.pdf, or by clicking on the image on the right.

  2. Do another trig drill for homework. (Will be distributed in class.)
